Introduction of Ola Auto in the Indian market by targeting Rickshaw Drivers & Potential Users
Ola Cabs is a multinational Indian ridesharing company with branches in other businesses like cloud kitchens and financial services. Their mobile app enables Indian customers to connect with online drivers for rides on a variety of vehicles at affordable rates. Ola Cabs wanted to introduce their Ola Auto service in the Indian market through a campaign of animation ad films, animation training videos, social media, and marketing collaterals. The brand intended to make Ola Cabs the biggest network of online rickshaw in India. Their target audience for this project was regular college students, homemakers, auto drivers, and corporate employees.
Moshi Moshi team designed a creative #AbChalega campaign to announce it to the target audience. We emphasised the hassles faced while booking a rickshaw offline from price negotiation to waiting for a ride on the roadside. We created two animation videos that highlighted the common problems of securing a local auto ride. Our team used animation to explain how Ola auto is an easy and convenient solution for every quick run to the grocery market or nearby shop.
We also made brand collaterals using illustrations and the exact colours identified with Indian rickshaw rides to relate this campaign with the brand identity. Moshi Moshi recreated the details and interiors of an auto rickshaw with the Indian audience at its centre in our campaign.
Our team only had a timeline of 9 hours to finish this project wherein the client wanted everything from design to implementation to be at par with their brief.
